The strategic location of La Isla del Júcar allows diverse and varied activities inside and outside the house. Here we detail some of them:
The proximity of the Natural Parks of La Murta and La Casella makes La Barraca de Aguas Vivas a strategic center to get to know them and walk their paths.
La Barraca de Aguas Vivas is part of the Route of the Monasteries that can be done on foot, by car or by bicycle, along which you can visit the monasteries of La Murta, Aguas Vivas and Valldigna, among others.
You can choose between familiar, quiet, nudist, textile, urban, and undeveloped beaches
In the tourist office of the different cities will provide us with detailed information about these and other activities that we can enjoy in the area.
There are also companies specializing in active tourism that can complement our stay in La Isla del Júcar.
Festivals
Valencia is the land of festivals. Fallas, Moors and Christians, The Bonfires of S. Juan are the best known. In the cities near La Barraca de Aguas Vivas you can enjoy any of them in all its fullness without having to travel to the capital.
The Fallas monuments are exposed for several days in the street and burned on the night of March 19 amid firecrackers and fireworks.
Currently, Las Fallas are classified as a festival of International Tourist Interest.
In Alzira, the first week of October is celebrated in honor of St. Catherine.
Music has always accompanied the Festival of Moors and Christians since its inception.
People stand around bonfires to commemorate the shortest night of the year.
